FINAL: Wild 3, CBJ 0

8:20 P.M. -- With just under 5:00 remaining, the Jackets are still trailing 2-0.

8:13 P.M. -- Penalty killed by Minnesota

8:09 P.M. -- Jackets...on the POWER PLAAAAAYYYYYY!

7:40 P.M. -- SECOND PERIOD ANALYSIS: Not the second period that the Blue Jackets were looking for, on multiple fronts. They took some undisciplined penalties - two of which led to power play goals for the Wild - and gave Minnesota plenty of momentum. The Wild out-shot Columbus 11-4 in the second period and lead 2-0 after 40 minutes at Nationwide Arena, with not a lot of action happening in front of Backstrom. His best save was on a Mark Letestu chance set up by Marian Gaborik, but other than that, Bobrovsky has been the busier of the two goaltenders.

7:29 P.M. -- Second power play goal for Minnesota, and it's 2-0 on a Coyle goal.

7:15 P.M. -- Get your questions in! And listen for the answers here.

7:15 P.M. -- It's time for another penalty kill. Anisimov heads off for tripping Koivu at 7:54.

7:12 P.M. -- Jackets on the power play for the second time in the period. Wild's Koivu to the box for interference at 4:52.

7:08 P.M. -- Wild get on the board first on a power play goal from Ryan Suter. 1-0 at 3:13.

6:50 P.M. -- FIRST PERIOD ANALYSIS: A scoreless first period at Nationwide Arena but there's a lot of energy in the building with a loud crowd on hand. The Blue Jackets controlled the possession game in the opening period and generated some quality opportunities, but Niklas Backstrom was on his game and made eight saves in the frame. The Blue Jackets will have 41 seconds of power play time left over to start the second period.

6:40 P.M. -- You go, Springfield! Whoop! Whoop!

6:34 P.M. -- MILITARY APPRECIATION VIDEO: There was touching tribute to United States servicemen and women that played on the Dispatch Media Center. Watch it here!

6:10 P.M. -- THE GAME'S AFOOT! The puck has dropped here at Nationwide Arena! Let's Gooooooo Jackets!

5:56 P.M. -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It's George Matthews' birthday today! He never seems to age a bit! Tweet him a Happy Birthday: @CBJRadio.

5:30 P.M. -- PRE-GAME WARMUPS: Jackets take to the ice in camouflage jerseys on Military Appreciation Night.

3:30 P.M. -- COMEAU ADJUSTING QUICKLY: Blake Comeau was at lunch when he found out he was traded to the Blue Jackets, but some familiar faces have helped ease the transition to his new team.

3:00 P.M. -- GABY'S FIRED UP: Blue Jackets forward Marian Gaborik has a couple of games under his belt with his new team, but tonight's a whole different story. "Gaby" is raring to go for his home debut at Nationwide Arena.

8:00 A.M. -- GAME DAY PREVIEW: Rob Mixer of BlueJackets.com brings you the deets on today's game against the Wild, with a comprehensive preview you can find by clicking here.

7:00 A.M. -- WELCOME HOME: Well, no sooner did the Blue Jackets arrive in Columbus off a two-game road swing to Nashville and St. Louis than did their attention shift to today's game against the Minnesota Wild. You'll be hearing us say this a lot in these final 10 games (but mostly because it's true)...but this is a huuuuuge game in the Western Conference playoff picture.

The Blue Jackets, sitting three points back of eighth-place St. Louis, did get some help yesterday. Chicago beat Nashville in regulation, and Los Angeles picked up a 4-1 win over Edmonton to ensure that the Blue Jackets' position did not change entering Sunday.

Marian Gaborik plays his third game against the team that drafted him today, and he's got a goal and an assist in the two previous meetings with Minnesota.

Here's a highlight of Gaborik's first goal as a Blue Jacket, which happened to be the game-winner in Nashville:
