PHILADELPHIA -- The Blue Jackets will officially begin the NHL Draft with seven picks.

Anaheim had until the start of the first round (approximately 7 p.m. ET) to notify Columbus whether it planned to keep the 38th overall pick - originally obtained by the Blue Jackets in the Marian Gaborik trade.

Ducks GM Bob Murray has notified Blue Jackets GM Jarmo Kekalainen that they are keeping the pick, thus granting Columbus a second-round pick in 2015. The pick is original property of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Here's a brief rundown of the Blue Jackets' picks in the 2014 draft: 16, 47, 63, 77, 107, 137, 197.
