The Blue Jackets selected Ryan Collins of the US National Training Development Program with the 47th pick. Here is a look at how the defenseman's numbers add up:

With the selection of Ryan Collins, the Blue Jackets have selected two players from the US National Team Development Program. The Jackets selected Sonny Milano with the 16th overall pick. This number also represents the number of medals that Collins earned as a member of the USNTDP in the World Championships and World Juniors.

6-foot-5: Collins stands as one of the tallest defenseman in the 2014 draft class.

4: The number of seasons that Collins has posted a plus/minus of +10 or more. His rating reached north of 19 in his two seasons with the U-17 and U-18 teams.

192: The total number of games in which Collins has played for the USNTDP.
