Luke Richardson Honored at 2005 FSN Ohio 'Meet the Team Luncheon'

The Blue Jackets hosted the fifth annual FSN Ohio “Meet the Team Luncheon� on Monday, October 3 on the floor of Nationwide Arena. The annual event to kick-off the season, was highlighted by lunch with Blue Jackets players, coaches and broadcast personalities, and served as the official kickoff to the start of the club’s 2005-06 campaign.

The new FSN Ohio Blue Jackets broadcast team of play-by-play announcer Jeff Rimer and color analyst Brian Engblom joined their counterparts from the Blue Jackets Radio Network, announcer George Matthews and analyst Bill Davidge as they introduced the 2005-06 Blue Jackets team and lead an interactive panel discussion with players and coaches.

Blue Jackets Captain Luke Richardson was also honored by the Blue Jackets with the Player Community Service Award for his involvement in the organization’s Bike Helmet Safety Program, Book Jackets Reading Program, Rebels for a Cause Bike Ride, and others.

The FSN Ohio Meet the Team Luncheon concluded with the opportunity for guests of all ages to meet and get memorabilia signed by the entire 2005-2006 Blue Jackets team.
