Adam Foote Earns His First Assist
Radoslav Suchy scored his first goal as a Blue Jacket off assists from Manny Malhotra and Adam Foote (hisÂ first point as a Blue Jacket) but Columbus fell at San Jose, 4-1 on Wednesday night at HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif.
Marco Sturm scored the first goal for San Jose and Wayne Primeau score the game winner and added an insurance goalÂ later in the second period to help propel the Sharks to the 4-1 win.
The Sharks out-shot the Jackets, 36-27, while Columbus went 0-for-6 on the power play but killed off all eight San Jose man advantages.
Marc Denis stopped 32-of-36 shots in taking the loss.Â Columbus will return to action on Friday night, playing the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim at the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, Calif., at 10:30 p.m. (PT)
