Blue Jackets Re-Assign Mark Hartigan To AHL's Syracuse Crunch
COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets have re-assigned center Mark Hartigan to the Syracuse Crunch, the club's American Hockey League affiliate, club President and General Manager Doug MacLean announced today.
Hartigan, 28, has recorded 1-0-1 with a +1 plus-minus rating and one shootout conversion in six games with the Blue Jackets this season. He has appeared in 40 career NHL games with 7-5-12 and 14 penalty minutes. Hartigan opened the season with 2-3-5 and a +2 rating in three games with Syracuse before being recalled by the Blue Jackets on Oct. 18. At the time of his recall Hartigan was leading the Crunch in scoring.
The Blue Jackets return to action on Tuesday night at Edmonton, the second game of a four-game road trip. Game time is set for 9 p.m. ET with FSN Ohio's Ice Breaker pregame show starting at 8:30 p.m. The game also will be broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship stations WBNS-AM Sports Radio 1460 the Fan and WWCD-FM, CD101.
