Rostislav Klesla returned from injured reserve to score his first goal of the season and David Vyborny, who earned an assist on the play, tied Geoff Sanderson for the franchise record for career points (168), but Edmonton scored four goals after the game was tied at one in the first, as Columbus fell, 5-1 at Edmonton on Wednesday.

Klesla, returning after missing the first 12 games of the season after suffering a stress fracture of his right leg, scored on the power play to tie the game at one. Bryan Berard and Vyborny assisted on the play.

With the assist, Berard extended his point-scoring streak to five games (1-4-5) while Vyborny extended his point-scoring streak to three games (1-2-3). Vyborny's assist was also the 98th of his career, giving Vyborny 70-98-168, tying Geoff Sanderson for the most points in team history with 168.

Rick Nash also returned from a high ankle sprain suffered in training camp, which he re-injured in the season opener at Washington on Oct. 5. Nash had missed the previous 11 games, returned to blast two shots on goal in 17:26 TOI, finishing with an even rating.

The Oilers scored four straight goals over the final two periods to account for the scoring. Ales Hemsky scored twice for the Oilers, while Ryan Smyth, Raffi Torres and Todd Harvey also scored for Edmonton.

Edmonton outshot the Jackets, 35-24, while finishing 2-for-4 on the power play to Columbus' 1-of-4. Marc Denis stopped 30 shots in suffering the loss.
