Tollefsen (pronounced TOLL-ehf-sehn), 21, has appeared in 15 games with Syracuse this season, tallying 0-2-2, 43 penalty minutes and a +4 plus/minus rating. He is tied for the team lead in plus/minus and ranks second in penalty minutes. Columbus' third pick, 65th overall, in the 2002 Entry Draft, he has registered 0-5-5 and 158 penalty minutes with a cumulative +6 plus/minus rating in 78 career AHL games.

A native of Oslo, Norway, Tollefsen made his professional debut last season with the Crunch, tallying 0-3-3, 115 penalty minutes and was +2 in 64 games. He spent the previous two seasons with the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League, registering 9-41-50, 167 penalty minutes and was +20 in 96 games.
