Blue Jackets Add Forward Mark Hartigan To Roster On Emergency Recall
Has Tallied 1-0-1 in Eight Games With Columbus This Year
Hartigan has appeared in eight games with Columbus this season, tallying 1-0-1, six penalty minutes and an even plus/minus rating while logging 14:09 of ice time per game. He has also collected 7-16-23 with 30 penalty minutes and is +5 in 21 games with the Crunch. He ranks second on the club in goals, is third in points and has chipped in four power play goals and one shorthanded tally.
Signed as a free agent on July 16, 2003, Hartigan has 7-5-12 and 20 penalty minutes in 42 career NHL games with the Blue Jackets and Atlanta Thrashers. He has also registered 76-98-174 and 264 penalty minutes in 214 career AHL games. The former NCAA All-American and Hobey Baker Award finalist with St. Cloud State was Syracuse's top goal scorer in 2004-05 with 31-28-59 and 105 penalty minutes in 69 games.
The Blue Jackets return to action tonight when they host the Nashville Predators at Nationwide Arena.
