Blue Jackets Recall Andy Delmore and Mark Hartigan
Delmore, 29, has appeared in 28 games this season split between the NHL and AHL. He was claimed by the Blue Jackets off waivers from the Detroit Red Wings on Oct. 4, and has played in three games with Columbus this season, registering five shots on goal. In 25 AHL games with Syracuse, Delmore has recorded 5-25-30 to lead the Crunch in points and assists. His 19 power-play assists lead the AHL, while his 30 points are tops among league defensemen. The Lasalle, Ontario native has recorded 43-58-101 with 29 power-play goals and 10 game-winning goals in 279 career NHL games with Philadelphia, Nashville, Buffalo, and Columbus.
Hartigan, 28, has played 32 games this season split between the NHL and AHL. A native of Fort St. John, British Columbia, he has skated in nine games with the Blue Jackets, recording 1-0-1 with one shootout conversion. In 23 games with Syracuse, Hartigan has recorded 10-18-28 with five power-play goals and +6 plus/minus rating to rank second on the team in goals, assists, and points, and third in plus/minus. The former NCAA All-American and Hobey Baker Award finalist with St. Cloud State was Syracuse's top goal scorer in 2004-05 with 31-28-59 and 105 penalty minutes in 69 games. Hartigan has recorded 7-5-12 with three power-play goals in 43 career NHL games with Atlanta and Columbus.
The Blue Jackets return to action on Friday night when travel to the Chicago Blackhawks.
