Columbus Assigns Mark Hartigan To Syracuse; Activates Alexandre Picard, Assigns Him To Syracuse
Hartigan has appeared in 11 games with Columbus this season, tallying 1-0-1, six penalty minutes and an even plus/minus rating while logging 13:55 of ice time per game. He has also collected 7-16-23 with 30 penalty minutes and is +5 in 21 games with the Crunch.
Picard, Columbus' first pick, eighth overall, at the 2004 Entry Draft, has been sidelined since Nov. 22 with a concussion. He appeared in two games with the Blue Jackets this season and collected six penalty minutes. He has also notched 3-2-5 and 21 penalty minutes in 12 games with Syracuse.
The Blue Jackets return to action Thursday when they continue a five-game road trip at San Jose. The club then visits the Colorado Avalanche Saturday before wrapping up the road trip at Phoenix on Sunday. The Blue Jackets-Coyotes game will be televised live on FSN Ohio with the Ice Breaker pre-game show starting at 7:30 p.m. All three games will also be broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship stations WBNS-AM 1460 the Fan and WWCD-FM, CD101. The Blue Jackets return home on Wednesday, Jan. 11, hosting the Pittsburgh Penguins. Game time at Nationwide Arena is set for 7 p.m.
