Olympic Update: All Four CBJ Players Advance To Quarterfinals
Through four games at the Olympic Ice Hockey Tournament, two teams sit atop their respective divisions that weren't really supposed to be there.

Finland, at 4-0 and with a dominant goal differential of 17-2, sits atop Group A while Radoslav Suchy and the Slovakian team sit atop Group B.

The two favorites for the top spot in each group, Team Canada, with Adam Foote and Rick Nash in Group A, sits in third with a 2-2-0 record, while Russia is in second in Group B with a 3-1-0 mark. David Vyborny and the Czech Team sit in fourth in Group A, with a 2-2-0 mark as well.

All three national teams sporting Blue Jacket players will advance to the quarterfinals, as Finland (4-0-0, 8 pts), Switzerland (2-1-1, 5 pts.), Canada (2-2-0, 4 pts.) and the Czech Republic (2-2-0, 4 pts.) have all clinched advancement from Group A, while Slovakia (4-0-0, 8 pts.), Russia (3-1-0, 6 pts.) and Sweden (3-1-0, 6 pts.) have all clinched from Group B.

Team USA (1-2-1, 3 pts.) has essentially clinched out of Group B as well, as Latvia (0-3-1, 1 pt.) can tie the U.S. in standing points with a win and a United States loss and by virtue the Americans' 3-3 tie with Latvia in the opening round of the tournament, the tie breaker will go to goal differential, where USA has outscored its opponents, 9-8, and Latvia has been outscored 9-24.

Nash, playing in his first Olympic games, has skated in four games for Team Canada, scoring 0-1-1 with eight penalty minutes. Foote has also posted 0-1-1 for Canada, with six PIM in four games.

Vyborny, playing for the Czech Team, has scored 1-1-2 in four games while Suchy has posted 0-1-1 in four games as well.
