Columbus Recalls Forward Alexandre Picard
COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled forward Alexandre Picard from the Syracuse Crunch, Columbus American Hockey League affiliate, club President and General Manager Doug MacLean announced today.
Picard, 21, has appeared in nine games with the Blue Jackets this season and has collected 14 penalty minutes in 26 career NHL games with the club. In 47 games with Syracuse, he has 11-17-28 and 73 penalty minutes. He ranks third on the club with eight power play goals. Columbus top pick in the 2004 Entry Draft, he has registered 26-32-58 and 125 penalty minutes in 92 career AHL games.
