January 2

Manny Malhotra is back in the lineup tonight. He ranks first in Faceoffs @ 60.2%

Joakim Lindstrom will play a regular shift with Glencross and Fedorov.

Rusty Klesla is a +6 in the last 9 games.

Newell Brown, the assistant coach of the Ducks, was an integral part of the Stanley Cup run last year. His son Adam a 16 year-old goalie is now playing Midget AAA in Dallas.

Doug Weight, the former Blue, is now adjusted in Anaheim and is accepting the same role as a QB on the second PP unit. As one of the top 10 American scorers, the 36 year-old has accumulated 5-3-8 in 11 games as a Duck.

Brad May, an injured Duck had the time of his life yesterday riding on a float in the Rose Bowl Parade. It won the "Governor's Award for the Best Depiction of Life in California." He was accompanied by the 115 year old Stanley Cup. The Rose Parade is 119 years old and it was the first time Stanley and Rose have met!

Drew Miller, the rookie Duck out of MSU, watched his brother Ryan playing in Buffalo yesterday. While Ryan was in the snow, Drew had a high of 68 degrees and sunny in Anaheim.

The AMP NHL Classic was won by Pittsburgh in a shootout… thank you Sydney Crosby for sharing the memories of pond hockey and the feeling of being a super star, but mostly of still being a kid.

Will someone get behind the idea of a double header at Ohio Stadium? Would this not be a great afternoon with the warm up band of an OSU-Michigan Hockey game, with a drop of the puck at 3 p.m. then a tailgate with thousands with grills and socializing… then the CBJ-Red Wing game to follow at 7:30pm… Go Bucks and Jackets!!

*Throughout the season, AAA will bring you the Broadcaster's Blogs - "Davidge Dishes" and "Rimer Ramblings". The Columbus Blue Jackets broadcasters will try to keep you update on all the behind the scenes action through their blogs, especially when the Blue Jackets hit the road. The next road game is 1/3 @Los Angeles.
