Blue Jackets help 10TV raise money for Hurricane Rita victims

Malhotra, Blais man phones to help raise over $500,000

In efforts to help assist those who were affected by Hurricane Rita, the Columbus Blue Jackets joined the 10TV Show You Care Disaster Relief Fund to help raise close to $500,000 this past week.

Blue Jackets forward Manny Malhotra and associate coach Dean Blais manned the phones during 10TV's 5-6:30 p.m. Eyewitness News.

Show You Care also raised more than $1 million to aid the survivors of Hurricane Katrina in recent weeks.
