Every Wednesday, BlueJackets.com will highlight the best games and most memorable moments from the history of the Columbus Blue Jackets. This week we look back at the best from November 18-24.

November 20, 2003 – Parma, Ohio's own Dan Fritsche picks up the first goal of his NHL career, helping the Blue Jackets to an impressive 3-0 shutout win over the Detroit Red Wings. Exactly two years to the day later, Gilbert Brule, the franchise’s sixth overall pick in the 2005 Entry Draft, scores his first ever NHL goal in a Jackets' jersey.

November 21, 2001 – Defenseman Deron Quint establishes a franchise mark for the most ice time by a blueliner in an overtime game. Quint plays over half of the entire game, tallying 33:18 in TOI against the Red Wings.

November 22, 2006 – Edmonton, Alberta native Ken Hitchcock takes over behind the bench for the Blue Jackets, becoming the fourth head coach in franchise history. "Hitch," a Stanley Cup winner and eight-time 40-game winner as a coach in the NHL, leads Columbus to a solid 28-29-5 record over the final 62 games of the 2006-07 season.

November 23, 2001 – Mike Sillinger has night to remember in the faceoff circle. The veteran sets a Columbus record by winning an incredible 22 draws in a 2-2 tie with the rival Chicago Blackhawks at Nationwide Arena. Later in the season, on March 11, 2002, Sillinger repeats the feat, helping the Jackets earn a 4-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.
