Twas 2 days before Xmas and all through the Rink

The Jackets had plans but to settle a stink

No Chimmer ..No Brass …No Raffy to skate

But a cast of some sticklers that other do hate

It was Pic and then Murr, who had shouldered some pain

But the glue that was back was all but the same

Come Boller, Come Dorsett come Jiri of Old

It is time to kick butt and the Kings be it fold

Time to step up boys we are home in Cbus

Old Hitch will be whipping the team with a fuss

On Nasher On Burger On Freddie we adore

There are 3 periods of hockey to two settle the score

It’s a game where one’s will be tested tonight

But the play of Steve Mason we hope will be tight

To the net with a flurry with goals in our strife

As the PP and PK come to work with some life

We will sit and will wonder how such Kings do fall

But for us with the Jackets …it’s a beckoning call

The fans will excite as the goals will come free

It’s the season of giving… and giving it be

A whooping..a thumping…a thunderous roar
