COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets will conduct development camp for 34 prospects from Wednesday, June 30 through Sunday, July 4 at the Dispatch Ice Haus. The development camp will begin with medicals and fitness testing as well as an on-ice session Wednesday and will be followed by four additional days of on- and off-ice workouts Thursday through Sunday. The camp officially concludes with an off-ice workout and exit medicals on Monday, July 5.

On-ice workouts, which are open to the public, will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Sunday. All on-ice times are subject to change. Conducting the on-ice elements of the camp will be Blue Jackets Head Coach Scott Arniel, Assistant Coach Brad Berry, Development Coach Tyler Wright and Goaltending Coach Dave Rook.

Among the 34 players currently scheduled to participate are 24 players who have been selected by the Blue Jackets in the NHL Entry Draft, including seven players who were drafted in the 2010 Entry Draft – C Ryan Johansen (first round), LW Dalton Smith (second round), RW Petr Straka (second round), D Brandon Archibald (fourth round), G Mathieu Corbeil (fourth round), D Dalton Prout (sixth round) and G Martin Ouellette (seventh round).

Additional players attending the camp by draft class are: 2009 – D Anton Blomqvist, D Thomas Larkin, C Kevin Lynch, D John Moore, RW Kyle Neuber and D David Savard; 2008 – RW Cam Atkinson, LW Matt Calvert, LW Sean Collins, D Steven Delisle, D Cody Goloubef and C/RW Tomas Kubalik; 2007 – LW/RW Jake Hansen, RW Trent Vogelhuber, D Will Weber, G Allen York; 2006 – LW Nick Sucharski; Players Acquired Via Trade – C Matt Rust and D Theo Ruth.
