After an impressive start to their three-game West Coast swing with Wednesday's 5-3 win in Los Angeles against a Kings team that was previously unbeaten on home ice. The Blue Jackets face Anaheim tonight.

The Ducks, no different than the Kings at home, are 7-1-1 at the Honda Center and in fact the combined home records of the three teams the Blue Jackets face on this California road trip was 21-3-3 prior to the game against the Los Angeles. Tonight, Anaheim starts a stretch that will see them play seven of their next eight at home.

The Ducks are winless in three, all road games, after recording six straight wins. The Ducks lost two of the three games in overtime on the just completed road trip.

As for the Blue Jackets 7-3-0 in their last 10, Coach Scott Arniel says he has told the team to forget about the L.A. game, refocus for the Ducks tonight and he wants everyone on board. The Jackets bench boss added, "I don't want a repeat of last week's Colorado game after our BIG WIN versus St. Louis."

Whatever it is that has the Jackets sporting a 5-1-0 road record, Arniel says he'd like to bottle it up and take it home. He went on to say, "We play a simple consistent game." And I think it shows!

Game time tonight is 10 p.m. Columbus time (EST) this evening. The game is preceded by "Blue Jackets Live" at 9:30 p.m. and yet another telecast in spectacular HD.
