Columbus Blue Jackets Activate Left Wing Ethan Moreau Off Injured Reserve
COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated left wing Ethan Moreau off injured reserve, Blue Jackets Executive Vice President and General Manager Scott Howson announced today. Moreau missed the past 16 games after suffering an injury at Phoenix on January 4. He is a player available for selection tonight when the Blue Jackets take on the Los Angeles Kings at Nationwide Arena.
Moreau, 35, has registered one goal and four assists for five points and 16 penalty minutes in 23 games with the Blue Jackets this season. The Huntsville, Ontario native was claimed off waivers by Columbus from Edmonton on June 30, 2010. In 886 career NHL games, he has collected 146-136-282 and 1,082 penalty minutes with Chicago, Edmonton and Columbus.
The Blue Jackets and Kings are set to face-off at 7 p.m. ET tonight.
