Columbus Blue Jackets Activate Right Wing Derek Dorsett Off Injured Reserve
COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated right wing Derek Dorsett off injured reserve, Blue Jackets Executive Vice President and General Manager Scott Howson announced February 22.
Dorsett, 24, has missed the past three games due to an injury suffered against Colorado on February 11. He has registered three goals and six assists for nine points and 119 penalty minutes in 52 games with the Blue Jackets this season, ranking 13th in the NHL in penalty minutes. The Kindersley, Saskatchewan native has collected 11-17-28 and 374 penalty minutes in 155 career NHL games with Columbus.
The Blue Jackets return to action tonight when they host the Nashville Predators. Game time at Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. ET.
