Columbus Blue Jackets Place Left Wing Kristian Huselius on Injured Reserve
COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed left wing Kristian Huselius on injured reserve retroactive to February 18, Blue Jackets Executive Vice President and General Manager Scott Howson announced today. Huselius, who suffered a lower body injury at Chicago on February 18, is listed as day-to-day.
Huselius, 32, has registered 12 goals and nine assists for 21 points and eight penalty minutes in 35 games this season. He is tied for the team lead in power play goals with five to his credit. He has collected 188-261-449 and 252 penalty minutes in 656 career games with Florida, Calgary and Columbus.
The Blue Jackets return to action tonight when they host the Phoenix Coyotes. Game time at Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. ET.
