Columbus Blue Jackets, KIA Motors Announce "KIA Ice Crew" as Part of New Corporate Sponsorship
COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets and Kia Motors America (KMA), Inc. announce the “Kia Ice Crew,” as part of a new collaboration as presenting sponsor of the 16-person promotional team that is responsible for keeping the ice in prime condition during breaks in play and intermissions. The sponsorship also encompasses traditional elements, including in-arena signage and messaging as well as vehicle displays during select games.
The co-ed Kia Ice Crew debuted new-look uniforms along with Kia-branded ice buckets when the Blue Jackets took the ice during preseason games at Nationwide Arena. In addition to their on-ice duties, members of the Kia Ice Crew also can be found mingling with fans on the concourses before each game.
Single game tickets for Blue Jackets home games starting at $26 are on sale now at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, The Chiller Ice Rinks and all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers.
