Hey everyone!

I'm back again for my fourth blog entry from the World Hockey Championship. What a game today! We beat Belarus 5-3 and got a good team effort from everyone. Today we came out with the energy we needed to win. They were a team that is desperate, so we knew beforehand they were going to push until the end of the game. Justin Abdelkader made a great pass while I was streaking through the neutral zone and I did a quick toe drag and tried to get it off as quick as possible. I don't think the goalie was ready for it. We need to take all the pros from this game and be ready to go for tomorrow against Kazakhstan.

I think we're playing well as a team, but we need to limit the turnovers and be hungrier on pucks. That being said, even though there are mistakes, we are still finding ways to win which is most important in these kind of tournaments. We need to come out ready to play from the drop of the puck no matter who we are facing, and use our team speed to our advantage. When we do that, it's hard for teams to keep up with us.

We found this Italian restauraunt right next to the hotel, which is nice. You pick your own pasta and sauces -- it's the most American style food I've had since being in Europe, and I'm going to stick with it! It's funny because slowly but surely the rest of the guys are catching on, and before long we will be having team meals there.

I'm excited for my roommate Richard Bachman to play his first game tomorrow between the pipes, and it should be a good one. All the wives and girlfriends arrive in the next two days, which will be a good experience and new transition for us.

Thanks for reading my blog, and I can't wait to share the rest of my experiences with you all!
