2012 NHL Draft To Be Held This Friday And Saturday At CONSOL Energy Center In Pittsburgh
Blue Jackets hold second overall pick in the first round, which begins Friday night on NBC Sports Network (HD)
The Columbus Blue Jackets hold the rights to eight picks, including the second overall pick of the first round, at the 2012 National Hockey League Draft, which will be held at CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh. The Blue Jackets also have a conditional 2012 or 2013 first round pick acquired from Los Angeles with defenseman Jack Johnson in exchange for center Jeff Carter. The first round of the draft will begin at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, June 22, with rounds 2-7 held on Saturday, June 23, beginning at 10 a.m. ET.
