The Columbus Blue Jackets and WBNS-10TV are asking fans to join them in supporting the team’s sixth annual “Jackets for Jackets” coat drive to help keep central Ohio families warm this season. New and gently used jackets of all sizes will be accepted from Monday, Nov. 12 through Monday, Dec. 3 at a variety of locations. All coats that are collected will be donated to the Salvation Army of Central Ohio and then redistributed to local families in need.

The Columbus Blue Jackets and WBNS-10TV introduced the “Jackets for Jackets” program in 2007. Since the inaugural “Jackets for Jackets” coat drive five years ago, more than 6,000 jackets have been donated and redistributed by the Salvation Army of Central Ohio.
