NEWS & NOTES
Columbus went 4-for-4 in shorthanded situations vs. Edmonton on Feb. 10 and now rank 5th in the Western Conference in penalty killing (84.8 pct.).
The Blue Jackets are the most responsible team in the NHL in terms of puck possession with only 44 giveaways on the season. St. Louis is the next best club with 54.
Columbus is currently tied for 5th place in the NHL with 171 home ice hits and rank 8th overall with 279 total team hits.
The Blue Jackets have amassed 15 fighting majors thus far on the 2012-13 campaign, tops in the league (also 2nd in PIM: 217).
Columbus has earned three wins after surrendering the first goal of the game this season, tying them for fifth place in the NHL in comeback victories.

PLAYER NOTES
LW R.J. Umberger became just the third player in Blue Jackets franchise history to record 200 points for the club when he scored a goal vs. Edmonton on Feb. 11 (95-105-200). Rick Nash and David Vyborny are the other Jackets with 200 or more points.

Umberger is currently tied for seventh place amongst all NHL forwards with 12 blocked shots this season.

D Jack Johnson currently leads the NHL in both total time on ice (340:14) and TOI/game (28:21)

RW Jared Boll currently leads the NHL with six fighting majors and is tied for 2nd in penalty minutes (44).

D Fedor Tytin continues to lead Columbus in scoring (1-8-9) and is tied for fifth place amongst all NHL defensemen in assists (8).

YUENGLING CELEBRITY BARTENDING SET FOR TUESDAY AT R BAR IN ARENA DISTRICT
Yuengling's Celebrity Bartending featuring Blue Jackets LW Nick Foligno, C Derek MacKenzie and LW Colton Gillies will be held on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at R Bar in the Arena District. The players will be there from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and all money from tips, signed jerseys and raffle tickets will benefit the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation.

BLACK TIE BLUE JACKETS STYLE SHOW SET FOR WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 27
For the seventh consecutive year, Columbus Blue Jackets players and their wives/girlfriends, along with local pediatric cancer heroes, will model the latest fashions in a charity style show to raise funds to support the fight against pediatric cancer. This year's Black Tie Blue Jackets Style Show, presented by Kelly BMW and Capital Style, is set for Wednesday, February 27 and will be staged once again on center ice at Nationwide Arena.
