Nathan Horton\'s top five games

The Blue Jackets were targeting offense in free agency, and they got their No. 1 target. The club signed power forward Nathan Horton on the opening day of NHL free agency, adding elements of size and skill on their top line.

Horton, originally drafted third overall by the Florida Panthers in 2003, spent the past three seasons with the Boston Bruins and won a Stanley Cup in 2011. In his career, Horton has put up 402 points in 591 career NHL games and is a six-time 20-goal scorer. What he’s arguably best known for are his playoff numbers: Horton has 36 points in 43 playoff games, including 15 goals in that span.

In the Bruins’ 2013 run to the Stanley Cup Final, Horton tallied 19 points in 22 games and carried a strong +20 rating.

To welcome Horton to the Blue Jackets organization (and to get you better acquainted with him), let’s take a look back at five of Nathan Horton’s best games.
