Blue Jackets place forward Brandon Dubinsky on injured reserve
COLUMBUS, OHIO -- The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed forward Brandon Dubinsky on Injured Reserve retroactive to November 19, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today. Dubinsky has missed the last two games with a lower body injury.
Dubinsky, 27, has tallied 5-10-15, 40 penalty minutes and a +1 plus/minus rating in 21 appearances with Columbus this season. The 6-2, 216-pound center has registered 88-160-248, 573 PIM and a +27 rating in 443 career NHL games with the Blue Jackets and Rangers.
A native of Anchorage, Alaska, Dubinsky represented the United States at the IIHF World Championships in both 2008 and 2010. He has recorded 6-7-13 in 10 career international appearances.
