EDITOR'S NOTE: You've arrived at the CBJ Power Rankings, our weekly breakdown of the top-five players, statistics, trends and many other Blue Jackets-related categories. If you're looking for the traditional power rankings, you've come to the wrong place. We'll go in-depth and outside the box, and hopefully give you something to think about.

Can you believe that the Olympic men's hockey tournament is already five days old? We're entering the second week of hockey action in Sochi and if this week is anything like the first, we're in for an unforgettable experience on the road to the gold medal game. For this week's power rankings, we're going to look at the top five seeds heading into the quarterfinal round, which begins on Tuesday. There have been some surprises and some memorable games - how could you ever forget that USA-Russia game on Saturday? - to go along with a high level of international competition. If you're a hockey fan (or a sports fan in general) you've for a satisfied customer.

Let's take a closer look at the top five, shall we?

SWEDEN

The Swedes have been besieged by injury in this tournament (recently losing captain Henrik Zetterberg to a back problem for the duration of the Olympics) but they keep forging on. In large part due to the spectacular goaltending of Henrik Lundqvist, Sweden has locked down the No. 1 seed entering the quarterfinal round later this week.
