FOX Sports Ohio to televise Jackets\' first round Stanley Cup playoff series
FOX Sports Ohio announced Monday that it will broadcast at least the first four games of the Jackets\' first-round series against Pittsburgh.

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets are set to face the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round of the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs and FOX Sports Ohio will provide live coverage of the best-of-seven Eastern Conference Quarterfinals series, the club and network announced today.

FOX Sports Ohio will broadcast the first four games of the series. If additional games are necessary, the network will air them unless a game is carried exclusively on national television. The broadcast schedule follows:

EASTERN CONFERENCE QUARTERFINALS SERIES

Game 1 Wednesday, April 16 at Pittsburgh 7:30 p.m. FOX Sports Ohio

Game 2 Saturday, April 19 at Pittsburgh 7 p.m. FOX Sports Ohio

Game 3 Monday, April 21 at Columbus 7 p.m. FOX Sports Ohio

Game 4 Wednesday, April 23 at Columbus 7 p.m. FOX Sports Ohio

FOX Sports Ohio’s coverage features Jeff Rimer calling the play-by-play action, Bill Davidge providing color analysis and Dave Maetzold reporting from rinkside. Jody Shelley will also continue to contribute to the network’s coverage. Blue Jackets Live, hosted by Dan Kamal and Brian Giesenschlag, will precede every game while a post-game edition of Blue Jackets Live, presented by IGS Energy, will wrap up the coverage with analysis, player interviews, and more.

To celebrate the first home game of the series in Columbus on Monday, April 21, FOX Sports Ohio will host a special one-hour, pre-game edition of Blue Jackets Live. Also before Game 3, SportsTime Ohio’s All Bets Are Off with Bruce Drennan will broadcast live from the plaza in front of Nationwide Arena starting at 3:30 p.m.
