Goal oriented: Cam Atkinson
Atkinson played 35 games during his rookie NHL season (2011-12) and established himself as a threat to light the lamp, including a hat trick late in the season at the Pepsi Center in Denver. His 22 regular season and playoff goals this year put him third on the Blue Jackets, and that mark is also a new career-high.
Possessing not only a lethal wrist shot that made him one of the top goal-scorers in NCAA hockey while at Boston College, Atkinson scored in bunches but even when he wasn't scoring, he contributed with a few slick goals in the shootout.
