|J.D. KERSHAW, Vice President of Marketing
|J.D. Kershaw was named vice president of marketing for the Columbus Blue Jackets in July 2011 and oversees the organization’s event and partnership marketing efforts, as well as its advertising, creative services, promotions and
fan development initiatives. He joined the organization prior to the inaugural 2000-01 season as the director of fan development and was promoted to director of marketing & fan development in 2006.
Kershaw joined the Blue Jackets after spending two years working for the National Hockey League’s European office from 1998-2000. Prior to that, he served as a marketing manager for the San Jose Sharks from 1994-97.
A native of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Kershaw received a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Hamilton College, where he was also a member of the school’s hockey team.
He and his wife, Kimberly, are the parents of a son, Trebor, and daughters, Jadia and Clara Mac. The family resides in Lewis Center.
