If things are starting to look a little lavender around here, it can only mean one thing…

Hockey Fights Cancer night is THIS FRIDAY at Nationwide Arena against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Columbus Blue Jackets and the Blue Jackets Foundation are proud to join the NHL and NHLPA for hockey’s most important fight, the fight against cancer. With help from our partners at OhioHealth, the Blue Jackets will raise money and create awareness for a disease that touches the lives of so many peopl

Here are some of the way YOU can join US this Friday:

  • Wear purple the color of all cancers to the game to show your support

  • Create your own “I Join the Battle” card for those you know affected by cancer

  • Purchase a 50/50 raffle ticket - all raffle proceeds go towards the CBJ Foundation’s pediatric cancer initiatives

  • Come early to see Blue Jackets players sporting limited-edition purple Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys during pre-game warm-ups (and bid on them later)

  • And much, much more!

    Available to all fans, the Foundation will also be raffling off a team-signed Hockey Fights Cancer jersey & team-signed purple hockey stick tomorrow night at Section 115. Raffle tickets are $20 each.

    As part of Hockey Fights Cancer night, Blue Jackets players wear purple Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys for pre-game warm-ups. Jerseys are then autographed and auctioned in-arena on the Bud Light Terrace at Section 115, with all proceeds benefitting the Blue Jackets Foundations fight against pediatric cancer.
