Spring 2013: This "moment," or series of moments, needs no introduction. It began with an overtime loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on March 1, and little did the Blue Jackets and their fans know what kind of ride they were about to go on. The Blue Jackets went 8-0-2 in their next 10 games and got themselves into the thick of the playoff race in the Western Conference.
There were many memories packed in: Mark Letestu's OT winner against Anaheim on Easter Sunday at Nationwide Arena, Sergei Bobrovsky's shutout of the Red Wings...and the list goes on. When all was said and done, they compiled a remarkable record of 19-5-5 in their final 29 games and missed a playoff spot by a tiebreaker to the Minnesota Wild.
