This week, we're looking at the five guys who are consistently getting pucks to the net and creating chances - those are the Blue Jackets' shot leaders through the season's first 60 games. Some names in this week's rankings will not surprise you and others might be a bit unexpected, but they are the players responsible for jump-starting an offense that was sputtering earlier in the season.
Let's take a look at the Jackets' leaders in shots on goal...
2013-14 TOTALS: 163 SOG in 60 GP
One of those that falls under the "no surprise" umbrella for shots on goal is Cam Atkinson. He's a sniper, a natural goal-scorer that gets the puck on target whenever he's given the opportunity. He's a player you want with the puck on his stick from between the circles, because he rarely misses. His 18 goals this season are a career-high and second most on the team.
