The Detroit Red Wings are coming off a game in an unfriendly arena, but they've always enjoyed visiting Columbus.

The Red Wings try for their seventh straight road win over the Blue Jackets on Monday when the teams square off at Nationwide Arena.

Detroit (19-8-4) won in New Jersey for the first time since Nov. 20, 1993 after rallying to beat the Devils 2-1 on Saturday.

"What a great win, coming back from behind," said Red Wings goaltender Dominik Hasek, who made 21 saves. "We talked about not having won here before the game. This was one of the most exciting wins of the year."

Detroit has had much greater success in Columbus. The Red Wings are 12-2-1 all-time there and have not lost a road game against the Blue Jackets since Nov. 20, 2003.

Detroit has won three straight and eight of nine overall against Columbus, including a 4-1 home victory on Nov. 4. Dan Cleary scored twice for the Red Wings, who outshot the Blue Jackets 37-17 and won for the 24th time in 30 meetings all time.

Brett Lebda had the go-ahead goal and Pavel Datsyuk scored a power-play goal in Saturday's win. He has four goals and five assists during a six-game point streak.

Datsyuk also has a four-game points streak in Columbus, recording three goals and six assists.

Defenseman Niklas Kronwall returned for the Red Wings after missing six straight games with a groin injury, and played more than 21 minutes with two shots on goal.

The Blue Jackets (11-17-3) are coming off Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Blackhawks. Columbus, which came back to within a goal in the second period after falling behind 4-0 and 5-1 in the first, has dropped two straight after a five-game winning streak.

"It's tough to fight back," Columbus' Fredrik Modin said. "We weren't happy with our start, but we managed to snap out of it in the second period."

Modin scored along with Rick Nash, David Vyborny and Alexander Svitov. Vyborny and Sergei Fedorov each had two assists. The Blue Jackets, who lost in a shootout at Phoenix on Thursday, had earned a point in six straight games.

"We came out a little flat and we can't be doing that," Nash said. "We need to come out with more energy."

Ty Conklin, who was recalled from Syracuse of the AHL last Monday, made his first appearance when he replaced Fredrik Norrena to start the second period and stopped seven of the eight shots he faced.

Norrena replaced Pascal Leclaire in the third period of last month's loss to the Red Wings and stopped all 10 shots he faced.
