to benefit the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation

Each season, the Hockey Fest Carnival and Auction is an exciting opportunity for fans of all ages to meet the Columbus Blue Jackets players and wives in an interactive and informal setting. Carnival games hosted by the players engage children and adults in competition with and/or support from their on-ice favorites.

2008 Carnival Games
$1.00 Carnival Game tickets are required to participate in most games at Hockey Fest.  They are available for purchase at the arena on the day of the event or prior to the event on www.ticketmaster.com along with the event tickets. 

All Blue Jackets PSL holders are able to receive 5 complimentary carnival game tickets on the day of the event by taking their PSL account card to the guest service desk behind section 111.

Face painters, caricature artists, and strolling balloon artists add to the carnival-like atmosphere.

Celebrity Hockey Challenge presented by Pepsi

Current and former Blue Jackets players and other NHL stars teamed up with local policemen and firefighters to host the 2006 Hats For Heroes Charity Hockey Challenge presented by PEPSI. These Hats For Heroes ALL STAR teams battled on the ice in order to create awareness and raise money for the fight against pediatric cancer off the ice.

This annual event wasbe highlighted by a silent auction, raffle, post-game autograph session, and exclusive VIP party at the Frog Bear & Wild Boar Bar. The game also featured the unveiling of the NEW 2006-2007 edition Hats For Heroes Hat.

On Thursday, September 18, The Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation Golf Classic presented by First Communications will again give fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in a day of golf with their favorite Blue Jackets players. In addition, fans are able to play one of the best courses in the country at Double Eagle Club -- all vying for the honor of having their names etched on the Foundation Cup as winners of the Classic.

This unique event occurs at the start of the season each September and includes golfing with favorite Blue Jackets players, an exclusive Blue Jackets gift package, a lunch program to draft your Blue Jackets player and a dinner and awards program  presented by Huntington where winning foursomes are announced. The overall winning foursome's names will have the honor of having their names etched on the Foundation Golf Cup.
