FSN OhioFSN Ohio televises 75 games each season. Emmy Award winning Blue Jackets broadcasts will open all broadcasts with a 30 minute pregame show, Blue Jackets Live, hosted by Jim Day, Bill Davidge and Jeff Hogan. Blue Jackets Live will break down each night's game, provide in-depth looks at the team and opposition, and provide insight to the personal side of our players. All broadcasts on FSN Ohio will also feature the Blue Jackets Live post-game show. It will air immediately following all Blue Jackets games on FSN Ohio, and will be hosted by Jim Day.

Many of the Blue Jackets broadcasts are re-aired the next day at noon on FSN Ohio.

Jeff Rimer, Television Play-By-Play

Jeff Rimer, joined the Blue Jackets broadcast team as television play-by-play announcer on FSN Ohio during the summer of 2004, bringing 30-plus years experience to the booth. He has covered the NHL for 28 years, including the past 16 seasons calling play-by-play action on television for the Florida Panthers and Washington Capitals. In addition to serving as the voice of the Panthers from 1993-04, he has also co-hosted the internationally- syndicated "Inside the NHL" radio program with John Davidson.

Danny Gare, Television Analyst

Danny Gare joined the Columbus Blue Jackets broadcast team as television color analyst on FSN Ohio in June of 2006. Gare, a former NHL All-Star, played 13 seasons in the NHL with Buffalo, Detroit and Edmonton, scoring 354 goals, 331 assists and 1,285 PIMs in 827 games before retiring from the NHL in 1987. Prior to joining FSN Ohio and the Blue Jackets, Gare served as a studio analyst and ice level reporter on Sabres broadcasts from 1987 to 1992 and 1995 to 2004. He was also the TV color analyst for the Tampa Bay Lightning during the 1992-93 season before serving as an assistant coach from 1993-95.

CD 101WBNS AM1460All Blue Jackets games can be found on the Blue Jackets Radio Network, which consists of 31 stations around Ohio, including Columbus flagships WBNS, 1460 The Fan and CD101, WWCD-FM.

George Matthews and Bill Davidge provide the play by play and analysis. Mark Wyant serves as pre and post-game host for all broadcasts. Each game is preceded by the 30-minute pre-game, where Bill, George and Mark break down that night's game with interviews with the Blue Jackets and the opposition, plus regular features, which include NHL Plays of the Week, news and notes from around the league, the Syracuse Crunch Report, and the Delta Keys to the Game.

Following every home game, the Blue Jackets post-game show takes place from the Bud Light Arena Pub at Nationwide Arena. It's a lively and interactive recap of that night's game, featuring Bill, George, Mark as well as appearances by Blue Jackets players and coaches. George Matthews will once again bring his passionate broadcast style to the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship stations WBNS (AM 1460) and WWCD (FM 101.1). He came to Columbus in 2000 with a long list of achievements and experience, including play-by-play work for the Prince Edward Island (PEI) Senators of the American Hockey League.

Bill Davidge - Radio Color Analyst
Bill Davidge brings 34 years of hockey experience as a player, scout and coach to game broadcasts on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship stations WBNS (AM 1460) and WWCD (FM 101.1). Prior to joining the broadcast team, he spent the 1999-00 season as a scout for the Blue Jackets and from 1995-99 served as a part-time scout for the Florida Panthers. He assisted with the evaluation of players as a part-time scout for the Detroit Red Wings from 1990-94.
