Championship PartnersDating back to May 1999, over a year before the team's first game on the ice, the Columbus Blue Jackets have taken an innovative approach to sports marketing with the introduction of the Championship Partners Club. Limited to a select number of members that have entered into long-term relationships with the Blue Jackets, the club is comprised of an elite inner circle of business partners that enjoy an unprecedented level of access and privilege. Members of the team's Championship Partners Club have the opportunity to exercise their creativity and suggest mutually profitable new ideas and programs for their own organizations and the Blue Jackets. The Championship Partners Club roster currently includes The Dispatch Media Group, Nationwide Insurance, OhioHealth and Time Warner Cable. The fully-integrated sponsorship programs include traditional inventory such as branding elements, media components, as well as customized promotional opportunities, concourse real estate and additional exposure at the Columbus Blue Jackets practice facility, the Dispatch Ice Haus, and at the Chiller Easton, Chiller Dublin and Chiller North Ice Rinks. Fans visiting the arena will find that the club's Championship Partners are prominently identified within their respective sections of Nationwide Arena. The architecture, design and interactive elements on each concourse area are unique to each partner. As the hockey club's most recent addition to the roster of Championship Partners, Time Warner Cable holds name entitlement to two locations in the arena. Located on the arena’s event level, the Time Warner Cable HD Lounge is an exclusive, ice-level restaurant featuring 15 flat screen HD televisions. Time Warner Cable branding also greets fans entering through the east entrance of Nationwide Arena. Nationwide Insurance presents the Nationwide Insurance Fan Stand, positioned above section 117, where all in-game promotions and features take place. Also, for the third year in a row, Nationwide Insurance will present a series of themed "Nationwide Nights" at several Blue Jackets home games during which fans will be treated to an exclusive pre- or post-game entertainment experience and a premium item. On the upper concourse, fans can stroll through the Dispatch Driveway and peruse a display featuring reproductions of Columbus Dispatch headlines that commemorate events in Blue Jackets history along with other memorable sports moments. The Dispatch Media Group is also represented by the Dispatch Party Tower, a trio of stacked luxury suites, accommodating groups of 24 to 48, which span the club level, suite level and upper concourse, as well as the Dispatch Ice Haus, the Blue Jackets attached practice rink. Also on the upper concourse, fans can check out OhioHealth Place behind sections 201-205. OhioHealth also presents the team's online educational program open to all educators in Ohio – Blue Jackets At School in partnership with OhioHealth. The program features classroom-ready lesson plans, the popular Book Jackets reading incentive program, and clear curriculum connection in the areas of language, science, social studies, and health/nutrition/physical education. |
